The Product History Report provides an overview of the hardware related work done to a particular product. It displays in all detail the past faults of a particular product. This info can be useful in tracking the product’s condition by the technical department. However, it can be used to help persuade the owner that further investment may not be worth it, and thus allow your marketing department to suggest a new product or model.
At the top of the screen there exists a strip of buttons allowing you to ‘Print preview’, ‘Print’, or ‘Export the report to PDF’. There is also a ‘Help’ button.
The report displays client and product information at the top left corner. Below this is a grid showing hardware problems, hardware solutions, and their respective costs to the client. Below this is the total amount spent by the client on this product.
